illith-anthonar: In 2007 we installed a massive pond in our backyard and populated it with dozens of feeder goldfish as a start. Since then, many have been eaten by herons and racoons, but the survivors have spawned and grown. This is Long-Nuwang, broodmother and largest of my water babies.  And this is why people should get their goldfish out of that bowl. They can grow the size of a grown man’s foot for goodness sake.
